CODE OF CONDUCT
Gateway families should download and review the Code of Conduct and review it with their student. Students and parents must sign the Code of Conduct in the back of the student handbook and return it to the student's homeroom teacher. If you cannot download the Code of Conduct, contact the GCS Main office for a paper copy. (Main Office: 302-633-4091)

BULLYING PREVENTION, SUICIDE & TITLE IX POLICIES
Gateway Charter School aims to foster the development of character and dignity in our students and community -- bullying or harassment of any type directly contradicts this idea. Bullying can take various forms -- personal interaction, email, text, or internet/social-media. Our students and staff members should not be subjected to harassment or bullying of any kind.
Instances of harassment or bullying should be promptly reported to the GCS Principal at 302-633-4091 Ext. 230 or at [email protected]. If you are unable to reach the GCS Principal, the state contact at the Delaware Department of Justice is Joseph Flinn (Ombudsman) who can be reached at 800-220-5414
Child Abuse Information Suspected child abuse and neglect may be reported to the Division of Family Services 24-hour hotline at 1-800-292-9582. You may also call any Law Enforcement Agency or 911.

The GCS Emergency Preparedness Plan has been approved by the GCS Board of Directors and the state Department of Education. A copy is available here for download; paper copies can be obtained from the GCS Main Office.
